Get an online visa – e-visa

You can obtain a visa without having to wait in line and waste time, you can simply apply for an online visa. Go to the official website of the government of the country where you want to travel, apply for the visa and follow the indicated steps. The process is much simpler than you might think.

As a passport holder, you’ll need to obtain your e-Visa (Electronic Visa) at least four days before visiting a country. The biggest advantage is that you can complete your application at home, without having to go to an embassy. This will save you time, effort and money.

If you want to apply for an e-Visa, you need a passport that has two blank pages and remains valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival in the country. Also, you need digital photocopies of the passport and recent photos.

We advise you to pay attention to the photo guidelines. You’ll have to upload a photo that is in 100% format, not cropped. You can search the internet for various programs that can help you, and there are lots which are also free.

The height and width of the photo should be equal, the photo must be clear and it must present full face, front view and the eyes must be opened. The best way to do it is to centre your head within a frame and present full head from the top of your hair to the bottom of your chin. The background should be plain light-coloured or white. You will also have to make sure that there are no shadows on your face or the background, and that the photograph has no borders.

Assuming the fact that everything will go as planned, electronic visas can take up to four days to process, but many applications are approved on the same day.

Of course, delays may occur if your form contains errors or if you applied earlier than the 33 days before your trip. As a passport holder, you can get a visa in a very short time, depending greatly on the fees you pay. So, when applying for a visa, you can choose between:

  • Standard processing time – takes 10 business days, so you can apply with 13 days before you arrive in the country you are travelling to
  • Urgent processing time – takes 6 business days
  • Super urgent processing time – takes 4 business days

In conclusion, e-visas are the easiest way to obtain a visa. You save time, effort and money by simply applying on the embassy website of the country you are travelling to. And then, assuming you are eligible, just wait for the visa to be issued.
